I've had Ted Andrews' Animal-Speak for years - it is a wonderful resource for identifying the reasons why an animal has shown up in your life, and it also presents a wealth of factual information about the animals, their habitats and mannerisms. This companion book to Animal-Speak addresses a wider range of insects, and also includes more exotic animals and some mythical creatures as well.
